Selection process
Once your first 3 images have been uploaded we will assess your portfolio for its suitability on
uk art place**. We strive for the highest quality and look for well cropped and adjusted images.
Features
uk art place has a wide range of useful features designed to help you find the information
you require, such as information on art material suppliers and local galleries.
We provide a range of features designed to give you as much control as possible over your online portfolio, which consists of three main areas, your gallery of artwork, your artist's profile and your contact page.

Artists Profile
Your profile is the equivalent to your CV. Your profile text is divided into three sections,
about me, about my work and upcoming exhibitions. The amount of text you can enter is limited
to 1500 characters under each title.
Gallery
Your gallery can contain up to 15 images. For each image you can add the following
information:
- Title
- Description
- Medium (e.g. Painting, Print, Sculpture or Multi-media art)
- Date
- Size
- Price
You do not need to resize your images to specific dimensions or create thumbnails, these are generated automatically. Just upload your image (a jpeg at least 400 pixels wide) and our software will do the rest. Images are instantly visible as soon as they are uploaded.
Contact Form
Your contact form makes it easy for anyone who visits your portfolio to email you without
having to use their email software. You can choose to show your address or telephone number
if you wish. We use the contact form to prevent showing your email address, preventing
spammers from obtaining your email address from uk art place.
Online Administration
Our online administration tools give you full control over your profile and gallery. We
will inform you of our new features as and when they are developed. All administration
tools are available online 24hrs a day.

Try it for 6 months and if you are happy with our service you can renew your portfolio on an annual
basis. Our proposed cost is £40 per annum.
** Registering on uk art place does not guarantee that you will be provided with a portfolio.
We try and assess applications as soon as possible. Due to the high volume of applications we
receive we are unable to provide explanations if your portfolo is rejected. If your portfolio is
accepted your 6 month free trial runs from the day you originally registered with uk art place.
